Comfort Kit Waitlist Update
We are currently experiencing an unusually high volume of requests for Comfort Kits.
We have fulfilled 20% more Comfort Kit orders compared to the same period last year. While we are proud to expand our reach, this growth has outpaced our current funding capacity and resulted in a growing waitlist.
To ensure we can responsibly fulfill the requests already received, we have made the decision to pause the bulk order waitlist. We are actively pursuing additional funding and will reopen the waitlist and resume bulk shipments as soon as possible.
Individual Family Requests Remain Open
During this time, our individual family request portal will remain open. Families may request Comfort Kits for their military children ages 6–12 here: https://www.comfortcrew.org/militaryheroes
Please note: this portal is designed for individual family requests only. Each request includes a full kit (and sibling kits, if applicable), so it is not suitable for bulk orders on behalf of multiple families.
You can also access our animated movies about deployment, reintegration, injuries, and loss, as well as other online materials for free at academy.comfortcrew.org.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding, your partnership, and the important work you do to support military families. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this period of increased demand.

The Comfort Crew has created four specialized Comfort Kits to support military children and their families through deployment, reintegration, injury, and loss. The Comfort Kit components are designed for children ages 6-12 to help them understand, manage, and express their feelings, let them know they aren't alone, and increase communication for the whole family. They consist of core components like the writing journal, family guidebook, access to a topic-specific animated movie, and a plush animal for comfort and companionship. Each Comfort Kit has additional items specific to that topic.
Comfort Kits are provided free to military families who request them at http://www.comfortcrew.org/militaryheroes and sent directly to their homes.
