The Challenge

Key Metrics

Research shows that post-deployment families often experience higher levels of stress, instability, and lower levels of family functioning, including divorce. One of the main reasons is that analysts estimate over 62% of troops returning are receiving support to treat PTSD or PTSD like symptoms.

How We Help

Our Together Again! Helping Military Families Reconnect Program is designed to focus on the unique challenges families experience during the reintegration phase of the deployment cycle.

The Together Again! Helping Military Families Reconnect Program Includes:

  • A Together Again! Kit full of resiliency building strategies: access to an animated movie to let kids know they aren't alone, a journal to express their feelings, a family guidebook for parents, and a plush bear to provide comfort and companionship.

  • Follow up support every 45 days for a year following the delivery of the kit: Video on how to most effectively utilize the kit components, a Survey for collecting data on our
impact, coloring pages, other recommended resources, etc..

  • Access to our Comfort Crew Academy, a virtual learning and resiliency platform for military kids. https://academy.comfortcrew.org
