In its 2nd year, The Boots and Birdies Charity Classic benefiting military kids will be held Sunday, November 3 and Monday, November 4, 2013 at the private University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas. The event will focus on the new resource The Comfort Crew is developing to help children and families of service men and women returning from deployment. The event will also serve to build relationships with members of the community, further spreading the message of how to support military kids.
On Sunday night, November 3, Texas Country Singer Wade Bowen will headline the 2013 Boots and Birdies Charity Classic Dinner and Dance. Registered participants and their guest, and sponsors will enjoy dinner, dancing, raffle opportunities, Q&A session with Brandel Chamblee, live music, and good company.
The Boots and Birdies Charity Classic Golf Tournament on November 4th will include 25 four-person teams, competing in a scramble format. Individual and team registration will be available starting June 24th. Individual registration will be offered at $500 and include participation in the Tournament, player gift and 2 tickets for the Dinner and Dance. Each team registration will be offered at $2000 and will include participation of a foursome, player gift and a table for 8 at the Dinner and Dance. Complimentary fore caddies will be provided to each team. Before tee off at 10AM, a breakfast bar will be available to all registrants. Food and refreshments will also be served on the golf course, as well as during the awards gathering.
