This summer the NASCAR Foundation hosted their 2nd Annual “NASCAR: An American Salute” campaign at speedways throughout the country. On two occasions, NASCAR drivers joined The Comfort Crew and the USO to stuff With You All the Way! Deployment Kits at Datona International Speedway and Pocono Raceway.
“Every weekend we have tremendous support from the military and we also give them tremendous support,” [Jeff] Gordon said. “It just seems like such a perfect match.” Gordon said it was “fantastic” the Foundation was able to get the military families “that are sacrificing so much” to package the boxes to help children have “an understanding and fun tools to understand where their mom or dad or both may be.”
Thanks to supporters like NASCAR President Mike Helton and several driver’s, including Jeff Gordon, 2,500 With You All the Way! kits are on their way to support military kids with loved ones stationed at Ft. Hood.
