About Luke Pell
Luke left Texas after graduating high school and spent almost 10 years in the military. He  graduated from West Point in 2007 and embarked on his commitment to serve as an officer in the Army for five more years. During that span he lived in six different places including Afghanistan for 12 months leading troops in combat.

Returning to the states in the summer of 2009 Luke began seeing his dream of becoming a song writer materialize as he spent many nights and weekends in Nashville just half an hour down the road from his duty station at Ft. Campbell, KY. He began networking with publishing companies and fellow songwriters in the Nashville scene for the next year before duty called once again and sent him to Ft. Bliss, TX. The two years CPT Pell spent in El Paso, TX would be his final assignment in the military before transitioning back to life as a civilian.

Moving to Oklahoma City in 2012 to work for a major oil and gas producer Chesapeake Energy would prove to add to the west Texas and western Oklahoma sentiment of that red dirt feel you find in his lyrics. As the songwriting continued to gain popularity among his listeners and the songwriters nights became more frequently in demand the encouragement of his fans to pursue his musical aspirations as something more than a hobby became a reality in early 2014 when Luke formed the band.  A year and a half into starting his band in Texas, Luke left corporate America to pursue a music career  full time. He spends time between Nashville and Austin.
