Family Pack for Veteran’s is free to qualified families living in Texas. This comprehensive set of resources focus on the unique needs of military families who are dealing with the effects of reintegration and transition to civilian life. This resource includes the DVD, Together Again! Helping Military Families Reconnect, our mascot stuffed animal, Cuzzie Jr., a journal for each child 6-12, and other items to help the family reconnect! With You All the Way! Preps Military Kids for New School Year with Pump-it-Up Back to School Pep Rally

The Comfort Crew was honored to be asked by the USO and P&G to create The Pump-It-Up Back to School Pep Rally for military kids. September 1-10, the Pep Rally visited 5 locations: Camp Pendleton CA, JBLM WA, Fort Meade MD, Naval Station Norfolk VA, and Naval Air Station Jacksonville FL. The Pump-it-Up Back to School Pep Rally for Military Kids prepared students ages five to 12 for the upcoming school year. The one-hour interactive show provided strategies for better study habits, increased student’s desire to learn, and provided life skills in an upbeat and entertaining way. Students left energized about the school year and feeling happier, healthier, and more confident. The Pump-it-Up Back to School Pep Rally introduced a new CCMK performer, Julie Frost as she joined Trevor Romain. 2015 Military Motivators

MEET OUR MILITARY MOTIVATORS FOR THE AUSTIN MARATHON The Comfort Crew has identified motivating stories that will encourage our runners to accomplish their personal running goals during this year’s Austin Marathon and Half Marathon. Last year, several of our runners sent their finisher medals to their Military Motivators as a token of their appreciation. Meet our Military Motivators to see why our runners are so inspired during their running journey. VICTORIA AND GABRIELLE These two beautiful young ladies lost their Dad, Tech Sgt Mark Smith, on August 5th, 2013. His helicopter crashed during a training mission when he was preparing for his third deployment to Afghanistan. He was 30 years old. Their family was close and they were making plans to celebrate Gabrielle’s 6th birthday that week. The day before the accident they released baby sea turtles together.
