The Comfort Crew’s Boots and Birdies dinner and music event on Nov. 6 will be at the County Line on the Hill starting at 6 pm. Entertainment will be provided by the Luke Pell Band, followed by special guest Bruce Robison. About Luke Pell Luke left Texas after graduating high school and spent almost 10 years in the military. He  graduated from West Point in 2007 and embarked on his commitment to serve as an officer in the Army for five more years. During that span he lived in six different places including Afghanistan for 12 months leading troops in combat. Returning to the states in the summer of 2009 Luke began seeing his dream of becoming a song writer materialize as he spent many nights and weekends in Nashville just half an hour down the road from his duty station at Ft. With You All the Way! Preps Military Kids for New School Year with Pump-it-Up Back to School Pep Rally

The Comfort Crew was honored to be asked by the USO and P&G to create The Pump-It-Up Back to School Pep Rally for military kids. September 1-10, the Pep Rally visited 5 locations: Camp Pendleton CA, JBLM WA, Fort Meade MD, Naval Station Norfolk VA, and Naval Air Station Jacksonville FL. The Pump-it-Up Back to School Pep Rally for Military Kids prepared students ages five to 12 for the upcoming school year. The one-hour interactive show provided strategies for better study habits, increased student’s desire to learn, and provided life skills in an upbeat and entertaining way. Students left energized about the school year and feeling happier, healthier, and more confident. The Pump-it-Up Back to School Pep Rally introduced a new CCMK performer, Julie Frost as she joined Trevor Romain. We are changing things up this year and are excited to partner with Barton Creek Country Club and County Line on the Hill to bring you an excellent day of golf and a very fun and entertaining party once again! The Boots and Birdies Charity Classic will feature a golf tournament, auction party, military special guests, and a live music concert!
