Month Of The Military Child

by comfortcrewmk on April 9, 2014

For Month of the Military Child, we are highlighting our Bringing Families Back Together program benefiting over 100,000 military kids ages 6 to 12.

When a parent is going to be deployed, they can request this program through USO Centers around the world or directly through the CCMK Web Portal.

With You All the Way! Dealing with deployment is a comfort kit filled with strategies to help guide families as they prepare for deployment, stay connected while they are separated, and what to expect when the family member returns home.

Together Again! Helping military families reconnect is a new resource delivered once the family is reunited. This comfort kit is focused on the unique challenges families face when learning to live together again. After a year or more of being separated, everyone has changed. This resource includes interviews of military kids and families sharing their experience with homecoming and the process of reintegration.
